Company Overview

Clinovations Government + Health is a woman and minority-owned small business. We are a leading consulting firm offering strategic, clinical, and health IT advisory and management services to the government and stakeholders in the public sector, provider, interoperability, and technology domains. Our goal is to create innovative solutions to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of healthcare for patients.

Clinovations Government + Health was formed in 2009 to focus on the unique perspective formed at the intersection of healthcare and policy. We serve as guides, translators and integrators between the different stakeholders and sectors. We understand the challenges are complex – the languages are different – and the stakes are high, so we strive to be the solution providers for our client partners.

Clinovations Government + Health is headquartered in Washington, DC, just steps from the White House, allowing us to work daily with federal and health system leaders on our country’s most challenging health and health IT issues.

In 2015, Clinovations Inc. changed its name to better reflect our focus to: Clinovations Government + Health, Inc. (Clinovations GovHealth). While our name may have changed, our mission has not. We continue to be committed to the delivery of services across the intersection of public and provider domains – to promote health and improve the quality of care delivery for patients. Our Core Values of collaboration, innovation, and dedication have stayed and will remain constant. Should you have any questions about our organization, please contact Anita Samarth, CEO, at anita@GovHealth.com.
Anita Samarth and Dr. Trenor Williams started Clinovations as a networking and learning collaborative in November 2007 in order to bring together healthcare executives for the purpose of discussing today’s most pressing healthcare issues. In 2008, Clinovations LLC was formed and shortly thereafter, in 2009, Clinovations Inc. (now Clinovations Government + Health, Inc.) was formed to focus on the intersection of healthcare and policy with a foundation of technology. Our unique and unbiased perspective is formed at the intersection of public and private healthcare sectors, with insights into trends and changes emerging from recently implemented regulation including the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act and the Affordable Care Act. Our clients include Federal and State government agencies, health and hospital systems, professional organizations, and technology developers.
